Thanks Tom...I'm interested in an AM spot and want to get in so I don't loose out.
I'm looking forward to this being in my home town. ?LOL
Cheers,
Paul
In answer to your question Sean, each partner to this event is required to make a contribution to the Soldier On program as a component of their commitment to the event. The more partners the greater the contribution. This way the entry fees and prize structure is separate from the charitable contributions made by the partners.
Andy and Vita are doing their very best to put on a quality event. Without their experience and passion this would never happen. There is a reason why the CSFL grows every year. The City has been fantastic, and so have the folks at CFB Kingston and at Soldier On. I can hardly wait for July. You can bet I'll be there!
I can't speak for the tournament officials as to whether or not it is in the rules but normally a passport is required only if you land at a U.S. port.It might not be a bad idea though in case of an emergency.Quote:

Like running out of Senkos
I`m starting my drive tonight to get there on time.
Cant wait.
Great Job to all involved
Rob,
Please stay home with Mike & Derek....:hug
Looks like an awesome event, can't wait!
I`d bring your passport anyways, ive been checked on u.s water by customs, and the first thing they asked for is your passport. Not sure if its needrd but it makes things easier. And theres a lot of U.S water around kingston area
Sorry for the Highjack Tom...but Mr "Bronzeback" Palmer should not be allowed outside to play either ! :DQuote:

A passport is required to fish US waters. Fishing in US waters and crossing the border by car is no different.
You will also need one of following:
- I-68 $16 US and is valid for 1 calendar year. These can be purchased at any border crossing. Boaters are required to registered with their boat ID and indicate they want a master BR #. You need to call the morning of to indicate you are entering US waters.
- or -
- Nexus card $50 for 5 years. For more info check out https://goes-app.cbp.dhs.gov
Don't forget the NY fishing license.
Cheers,
Mike
"The non-boaters have a chance at an impressive list of prizes valued at over $50,000 including a first place finish worth $20,000 in merchandise"
This is from the press release, so the first place non isnt a cash prize????
Just Curious
All amateur payouts are in prizing!
1st place will be a boat/motor package valued at $20,000 and that should be confirmed by the end of the week. Additional prizing is being worked on as I type.
Thanks
Bob

Man what an awesome platform and even a better cause!
Not to mention backed by 2 great companys. Hats off to Andy & Vita and all the fine people at shimano! Could we have 2 more events like this LOL.:clap
Cheers Chris.
another one on erie would be awesome ! in the future that is!
I've been giving this some thought however my father is turning 80 just a few days before. Not sure if I can swing it, with the drive I wouldn't have a prefish. ....Looks like I might have to forego it ??
Cheers
We'd all better sharpen our hooks. Phil "Bronzeback" Morlock signed up on the Pro side!
Hey Tom, don't laugh about Mr. Bronzeback...did you ever win the fall challenge????
BIG JIM
No, and neither did he. Now, oh Large one, we know who did.
Mr. Brooke Sir, I stand corrected and in a crumpled heep at your feet once more Sire...
Crankbait King....
I was going to fish the Champlain event that weekend, unfortunate our summers are so short, but I will be registering for this event , great to see an event like this in Canada , I'm also glad we are helping our soldiers, I'm in.
I agree 100% Mark,
We asked for a high dollar event and here it is, also I have fished the Big Jim the last two years and the support for our Military is always a great thing!
Peace Out
Dan
I just got off the phone and if your on the fence about this event, you better jump off on one side or the other pretty quick.
- My cheque is in the mail....
- Andy is beautiful...
- and I won't......
OK I lied.... my cheque is in the mail...
and Andy is far from beautiful.
Jack
Careful Jack, you might join Pepe's new avatar club ?LOL So the pro side is full already....wow !
Do the ams fish all 3 days? I am thinking of entering but want to know first before i enter.
Thanks
Dave...as far as I know...Everyone fishes all 3 days.
Pete
Just a littlle additional info that was brought up last night at the chat session. It might be a good idea to sign up before the fields are full or you will be on a waiting list, and they are filling up fast.
Everyone fishes all 3 days!!
Sorry my misunderstanding.
is there anymore room for the AMS??
I believe there is but I wouldnt wait to much longer I don't think there will be a shortage of non boaters for this event.
Peace Out
Dan
anyone know how long the waiting list is right now?
I hope you did not imply that since I joined as an am...that the Pro side was full. Last I heard there was a few spaces left and several more on the am side. I joined the am side because I prefer fishing the back of the boat! LOL
The word I heard today was 19 am spots left.
Just heard from my buddy, only 4 spots left for the am's.
I signed up a few hours ago and there were 10 spots left for the ams, man the spots are going fast. Looking forward to this event.
I may have missed this question/answer: is the "Power Pro Big Fish Award" a combined award/payout for Pro and Am?
Thanks
This is exactly what happens to Leaf fans, ther brains just go to mush. ?LOL?LOLQuote:
