Any guess to the winning weight or the winners?
Strub and Desforges. 30.10
Should be an interesting year with the high winds all week definitely playing a roll. It's difficult to hunt in 6 ft waves. The lake is in the process of turning so fish could be scattered in depth and areas.
Wayne and Gail having been knocking on the door even before their win so they should be there. There is 20 or more teems that can win so its just a guess anyway but since we are guessing, seems every third year its Bob Formosa and Jason Saliba's turn again. This seems to be Bob's kind of weather. Derek and Mike won't be far off if they don't win.
I think the weights in general will be very low. The winner could have over 30 but 24 lb will make the top 10. With 110 teams sharing safe water in 40 km winds and the fish being scattered it will be a tough bite and hard to get 5 big ones.
40 km winds??? Yikes - what winds will the event be delayed/cancelled?
Yeah at 40 km wind the event will be canned for the day. Whats the wind for Sunday? I just checked wind finder and it looks good. Wind 11 kts SW with gusts up to 20 kts. Its not good but workable. The drive down south will be good in the morning but the drive back in the afternoon might be a little bumpy lol! But you Simcoe boy's are used to that. I wish everyone a great day and good luck. Be safe and tight lines everyone.

Wayne and Gail back to back wins ,good luck everyone
Hotzak and Watkins for the win, Good Luck
Whoever wins today will certainly earn it. It looks like a miserable morning with wind and rain. But anyone who fishes these tournaments knows how fast misery turns into fun when the first fish bites and its game is on.
Good luck to all and stay safe.
