Mizmo Clipper Weight by Dave Johnson

I received a U2U over the week-end from a BFB member asking me about Mizmo's new clipper weight system. I'd like to let everybody know that Dave Johnson, a fellow CSFL Angler designed this bait for Mizmo and that not everything is American these days!!! If anybody else has any questions about this weight system, Dave is the guy to ask. Jeff Evans or Barry Graves (his two tournament partners) will attest to the success of this system.

This revolutionary new pegging system allows for a secure, non-slip weight attachment that in no way damages the plastic lure or the fishing line. This is because the weight attaches to the hook, not to the plastic, and eliminates the need for toothpicks or other line-damaging pegging tools.

I thought Bill Davis designed these, I bought 15 off him last year. They are exactly the same.

Dave invented the weight 2 - 3 years ago, and attributes numerous tournament
wins to the weight. Bill agreed to sell them for Dave until he found a
company to distribute the weight. Mizmo is now the sole supplier for the
clipper worm weight and it is my understanding that Bill now purchases them
from Mizmo directly, and sells them under the Mizmo name.
