    A very sad day in the angling community

    Joey Mansholt, son of Garry Mansholt, passed away in his home in Brechin yesterday afternoon.

    Please keep Joey in your thoughts and prayers and let us not forget the joy this young man brought to our tournaments.

    Viewing and Mass Services for Joey Mansholt will be held this Sunday Sept. 11, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at The New Beacon Presbyterian Church, 413 Simcoe Street, Beaverton, ON L0K 1A0.

    Our sincere condolences go out to the Mansholt family.
    I learned of this news early this morning and I'm still in dis-belief. I've had the pleasure of knowing Garry and Joey for many years and I can't imagine the pain the family is feeling.

    My deepest condolences go to Mansholt family. I too have known Garry for many years and Joey will be deeply missed in tournament circles. Thoughts and prayers from our family to theirs. I am in absolute disbelief and shock. I feel blessed to have met this young man. Garry please if you need anything I am a phone call away, day or night.
