Paddletales Pilgrim Poultry Pallooza

Saturday November 15 has been slated for the annual Paddletales Pilgrim Poultry Pallooza. We are working on lots of specials and of course we will have lots of prostaff on hand, But the highlight as always will be the deep fried turkey. The turkey is deep fried on-site and will be served from approx 11am to 2 pm.

Most of our 2015 rods and reels should be in at this time as well, so it will be a great opportunity to start getting ready for next year or doing some early Christmas shopping. There is also a new clothing store in town just a minute walk from Paddletales, so if your spouse is not interested in tackle, (perish the thought) there will be something for them to see.
Specials will be posted as the date gets closer.

This event is always a blast, so mark your calendars and we hope to see you out.

Well, we're on week away from the Pallooza and we are getting some interesting things put together.

Here is some of the new items we have in. Shimano has done a great job on the new Convergence, Clarus and Crucial rods. The Crucials in particular have been selling really well. From Pure Fishing we have a couple of new rods. The Fenwick Elite series has been redesigned and they did a great job. For the more budget minded there is the E.Motion series from Berkley. Again, they did a great job in keeping to a budget but maintaining feel. From Berkley and Sebile we have a selection on new hard and soft baits
In the optics department, we have brought in Solar Bat and Maui Jim glasses and we have good inventory of both.

We have also been working on some specials. This is just a sampling and we will add to it mid week.

Of course there will be turkey cooked on site and served from approx 11am to 2pm. As well there will be boats from Olreans Boat World, Pirates Cove, and the Paddletales Ranger on display weather permitting.

We've been busy all week getting ready for Saturday and it's coming together nicely. We've added a couple more specials. Shimano Core 100,101, and 100mg7's are all on sale, as are the non-current Clarus rods. There will be other items specially priced, but you'll have to come out to find out what they are. lol

As always, we try to stress the social aspect of these events. Anyone who has attended one will agree how low key and enjoyable they are. The pro-staff are there for information for you, not to drive sales. Of course, if you do happen to buy something, that's ok too.
So come on out, enjoy the day, the fellowship, and the turkey. oogle the boats, and talk fishing.

We are pretty much ready for tomorrow. Just need turkeys and people. We did some more digging around the store today and came up with a few more specials.

Frabill Ice fishing suits and Salus Survival suits. Sizes are very limited but they are priced to move.
Pflueger and Abu spinning reels. We already had baitcasters on sale. Might as well make a clean sweep. These are priced VERY aggressively.

It looks like a nice fall day coming up. Hope to see lots of you out.
